Welcome to my Latin America Pop Culture Portfolio (#1)
Hi, I’m Adin! I’m a Senior at the University of North Florida, majoring in Criminal Justice/Criminology. While my academic path focuses on law, policy, and the structures that shape society, I’ve always been drawn to the vibrant and expressive world of Latin American pop culture. From the bold colors of street art to the rhythms of the music and the deep history embedded in the culture, there’s something about the energy of Latin America that intrigues me. My interest in Latin American culture isn’t just academic but more of a personal curiosity. Having family roots in Latin America, but being born in the United States, I have felt that I am not as knowledgeable of my heritage. This portfolio is my way of bridging that gap. Whether it’s discovering influential artists, literature, or films. I love exploring the ways culture connects people across borders. This portfolio is my way of engaging with that world, analyzing its influences, and sharing my perspective on what makes it so impactful.

Whether you’re as passionate about Latin American culture as I am or just curious to learn more, I hope this space offers something fresh and thought-provoking.
